I have a "MOVIES" folder shared with UPnP AV Server enabled.
The MOVIES folder has three sub-folders: G, PG, and (you guessed it) R.
Under each of G, PG, and R, there is a folder for each movie. Each of the movie folders has the movie file and a "folder.jpg" file to display the movie cover.
I can see the DNS-321 from my XBOX by browsing from "Video Library". I see "Folders" and "All Movies".
Under "All Movies" I see movies from all three sub-folders, but the movie listing hasn't changed in some time, even though I've been adding new ones regularly.
Under "Folders", I can browse to each sub-folder, but the PG does not show any movies at all. The G and R folders show movies, but again, I don't see any of the ones I've added in the last couple months (at least) or so.
I tried disabling/enabling, refreshing, rebooting, etc., but nothing has changed what I see on the XBOX. When I disable UPnP on the DNS-321, I no longer see it as a "computer/server" on my XBOX.
Is there a folder enumeration issue, maybe? Here is the total movie folder count listed by G, PG, R sub-folder:
G: 11
PG: 109
R: 81
These may not be totally accurate because a movie folder might have other movies folders because of sequels. For example:
R--
Saw --
Saw
Saw II
Saw III
etc.
Thanks for your time in reading and responding. I've been frustrated with this for a long time now. Every time I suggest watching a movie to my wife, she gets frustrated because I spend 30 minutes trying to get this to work. She either gives up on me or waits until I resign and copy it to a thumb drive (which works great through the XBOX LOL). I'm stubborn, but I'm done trying to make this work. I really hope somebody knows what is going on here.
Thanks,
Drew
