In my case, after updating DIR655 to 1.22b05, it works with a Huawei E220 (firmware version 11.117.10.00.00). I needed to setup manually all the params of my ISP provider (Spain - Movistar) since it was not listed in the drop down menu.

I tried also an an Ovation MC950D without any success...

Hope it helps,

works with EDGE too. LOL not that you would ever want to. But that means it works w/ my Blackberry. Looking at the settings I would guess that it would work with any Rogers Device (here in canada) seeing as how it uses the APN settings, and as long as you have the internet.com SOC on your wireless account, you should be good to go..  oh yea, don' t forget a data package.

Sorry for my "stupid" question, guys... but how to install a 3G USB modem in DIR-655?

Have you got it to work with your Rogers BlackBerry, or was that "it should work with a Rogers BlackBerry"?
i.e. Have you actually got it working?
