As in the header my fimware is 1.15, 2008/10/29

I want to setup a GAMERFEUL rule for BF3 to make sure it's using it. I run Windows 7.

The DGL 4500 is running fine so I wont bother upgrading the firmware.

I'm just a major noob when it comes to IP's and stuff but I did find a port guide on www.Findports.com for BF3.

Ive made a pick of my Hubs GAMERFUEL tab with a side by side of the BF3 ports from www.findports.com.

Can someone tell me what I need to put into ALL of the menu's if you have the time. I need a step by step cos I don't know anything about setting  the GAMERFUEL rules up.

Can someone please help a dummy. Cheers.

Also if anyone knows any tweaks for FPS games I'd owe you one.

Im running PC windows 7.

How do I check hardware version as im tempted to get Firmware 1.23NA so it's got everything enabled.

I've checked the Sticky. No luck. I just want someone to tell me what to put in really.

If this game is for the PC then you'll need to use Gaming:
Name             IP Address                 TCP Ports     UDP Ports        Schedule    Inbound Filter
Preset name   ###.###.###.###     3074           88, 3074          Always       Allow All
(Reserved IP address of the PC entered in the IP Address box.)

Reserved IP address of the PC entered in the IP Address box??

What do you mean by this it confuses me.

Also looked at that link and it confuses me that you need to setup a static IP? Also in the tutorial I notice the IP line is left blank on each of the three stages. What needs to be entered in this box?

Yes, means you need to go into the router and under Setup/networking, reserve the IP address that assigned to your PC listed under Dynamic Clients list. Select the Reserve work link and this will auto fill in the Add reservation section. You can give it a name too so you can ID it easily. Once this is done, use this IP address in the rules. Yes, you'll need to input the IP address you reserved into the rule for the IP address box. Thats the IP address of the PC your gaming with.

I set that all up now.

I used your settings firstly. With my Ip address saved as GEBINTELGTX590. So I've entered my Ip by selecting the preset.

I'll game on it for a bit then give some feedback for other users playing BF3.

Might upgrade my firmware later tonight and reset everything again if this works ok.

NO please do not update FW. If it works, DON'T FIX IT! Keep whats loaded. V1.15 is a good version.
