Hi,
I have one DNS-320 with 150GB aprox in files, im tranfering this with a "local backup" to another DNS-320 but this are taking to long. I started yesterday night and just did tranfer 18GB to now. Revising the log im observing that the files appears like this (most of them):
"Nov 19 17:15:39 XXXNAS pure-ftpd: FTP server: /Volume_1/XXXX/IL2/PaintSchemes/Skins/P-36A-3/USAAC79thPS.bmp downloaded (1049652 bytes, 28628.53KB/sec)"
28628.53KB/sec means aprox 28MB right? this supposes that at this rate 150GB has to be transferred complete long time ago im right?
One thing that im seeing too is that each file take between 4 and 5 seconds to starts transferring no matter the transfer rate it took... if this is right 150GB will take very log time.
This is part of the log:
"Nov 19 17:15:39 XXXNAS pure-ftpd: FTP server: /Volume_1/XXXX/IL2/File/user.log downloaded (4690 bytes, 27265.57KB/sec)
Nov 19 17:15:45 XXXNAS pure-ftpd: FTP server: /Volume_1/XXXX/IL2/PaintSchemes/Skins/P-36A-3/USAAC79thPS.bmp downloaded (1049652 bytes, 28628.53KB/sec)
Nov 19 17:15:51 XXXNAS pure-ftpd: FTP server: /Volume_1/XXXX/IL2/PaintSchemes/Skins/Il-2I/Funky.bmp downloaded (263224 bytes, 30040.00KB/sec)
Nov 19 17:15:56 XXXNAS pure-ftpd: FTP server: /Volume_1/XXXX/IL2/PaintSchemes/Skins/Il-2M_Early/Green-Brown.bmp downloaded (263224 bytes, 28241.23KB/sec)"
It is right? how can i improve it?
Again sorry my english
