Can't Re-Set Up
« on: November 22, 2011, 07:14:05 AM »

Running Windows 7, through an ActionTec wireless DSL modem/router.

My DPR-1260 had been working fine, occasionally losing signal, but a power cycle usually would reset it.

Now, nothing.

I have tried plugging the print server directly into the router, and the computer into the router (with both wireless on and wireless off on the computer).
I have tried plugging the print server directly into the computer.
I have done a hard reset on the print server and repeated both of the above.

When I initially set up the print server, because my network is on a 192.168.1 protocol, I changed the server's address to 192.168.1.10; I cannot find it at that address, nor at the 192.168.0.10 out-of-the-box address. (Either now or pre-reset.)

I have tried
 http://dlinkps-XXXXXX
 http://dlink-XXXXXX
 http://dlinkXXXXX
 http:/dlinkpsXXXXXX
 http://dlink

(where XXXXXX is the last six characters of the print server's MAC).

I either get timed out, or it forces me to a Google search page.

I do not have the original setup disc (if there was one - I have all my other discs going back to HyperCard).

The printer's great, I hate to throw this stuff out, but...

I need help.

Thanks!
