Does your VDSL modem have a DMZ? Put the 655 routers IP address it gets from the Modem in the modems DMZ and test.

My Modem doesnot have DMZ. Its a pure bridge.
FYI the modem is a Motorola Netopia 7647-57 named for my ISP Centro Piccolo.

I would see if by unbridging the modem, see if there is a DMZ and test that out. If not then I would either investigate a different modem or router model thats compatible with the modem. That model modem isn't sold in NA so it's probaby only a EU Spec modem. Different HW and such.

Do you setup the router with DHCP Dynamic or PPPoE for connecting with the modem?  Some modem setup with PPPoE then the router can use DHCP Dynamic without cut off from the modem.

I tried this also.PPPoE doesnot work with my ISP. Only DHCP..

Motoral/Netopia 7640-07 aka “Swisscom Piccolo" is a Swiss modem.  It is correct to set the modem with PPPoE and the router DIR-655 with DHCP Dynamic.  As I know the Motoral/Netopia is a modem/router.  What channel does the Motoral used?  Do you have auto channel on the Dir-655?  You may need to use a different fix channel for the modem and the router.

I think that I have solved the problem. After 3 days no breaks..
I changed my VDSL Modem P870M-I V2 to a modem provided ( and certified ) from my ISP.The modem supplied was the Centro Piccolo aka Motorola Netopia 7640-47-20 SC ( I think is a version only for my ISP )
It is a router without WiFi (!)
I had before to configure as a pure bridge ( only with telnet commands ! )
After a hard reset ( cutting power supply ) first the centro piccolo and then the Dir 655 it works now in DHCP.
De facto it is a fixed IP that changes only if I release the adress and ask for a new.
The Zyxel dose not support DHCP but only PPPoE. Centro Piccolo supports both DHCP and PPPoE.
The speeds are the same as before. I hope that more Mfrs will go on the market with new efficient products.
Best regards and many thanks to all for your interest and support and hope will now working ok.

Sounds like a modem compatibility issue here. Glad you got it fixed. Enjoy.
