DIR-625 and a Cisco SPA2102
« on: November 29, 2011, 07:17:27 PM »

Hello, I have a DIR-625 and a Cisco SPA2102. I set up network magic and I think it does detect the Dir-625 but it will not allow wireless connections. When I try to access the router in network magic it takes me to the Cisco SPA2102 but when I read the description of the Network magic the word Dlink is in it. I think it is only recognizing the Cisco SPA2102 and it does not see the D-link router. Can someone please tell me, how do I get network magic to recognize my wireless router?
I do not mind telling you, this is really frustrating!! My apologies if i ruffled a few feathers at D-link.
Thanks, Mrx99

You need to not use Network Magic.
All configurations needs to be done by the router using the routers web page found at 192.168.0.1.
However since you have this Phone adapter with built in router by Cisco, I dont recommend using the Dlink as a external router is having 2 routers on the same line can introduce connection problems. Is this your ISP modem you use to get internet and use Phone service with?
