For those of you that have tried the "sticky" pages, and you still have a nat type strict, I have a minor suggestion for you which worked for me. First, make sure you have tried the suggestions from the sticky pages (DMZ, portforwarding, etc). I have a dlink-655 (revision B, 2.03 Firmware), a motorola surfboard sb5120, and my ISP is comcast. Here is the suggestion for you. If you have changed your router (I was previously using a linksys router), reset your MODEM to defaults. For some reason the linksys had changed some settings causing a "strict" nat type when I installed the dlink. For the surfboard, the IP is 192.168.100.1. Click on configuration, and click on "Reset all default." Also, make sure you are using the current firmware update for your router. This has worked for me when I finally realized certain settings were changed when I logged into my modem when DMZ and portforwarding failed to give me an open nat type. I hope this works for you. Good luck!
