Hi All,
Have had an issue with a previous belkin router and having similar issues with current DIR 825.  Internet is dropped when opening up the MacBook (Using N or G).  Sometimes the internet connection still works with iPad and iPhone, sometimes it doesn't.  As well, sometimes I can turn wifi off on the MacBook and then turn it back on, and it will work for about the time it takes to load one webpage and then it will cut out again.

Every time this happens I can unplug the power from the router and plug it back in which has fixed the issue in every case.

FW ver is 2.05
ISP is Cable
Modem is standalone

What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
Turn off QoS options.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP.
 
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.
What wireless devices do you have connected?
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area?

Turn off Short GI and Extra Wireless Protection.
