I have dap-1522 version A
Browser IE8 with lestest updates.

I downloaded the DAP1522_FW_1.31zip went I try to upload via the 1522 admin error not correct file.

I try three different way to download it, could the file be bad on dlinks web site?

one good reason might be this  ""Closed a publicly disclosed potential vulnerability.""
to me that sounds like a good reason to update , why run firmware with a known vulnerability ? 
  O P did you unzip  first , then find unzipped file  with FW update page

Agreed that that Could be an issue. Not trying to have him avoid that. Just trying to see if there is an actual problem with the DAP before updating.

The zip file itself cannot be uploaded. you need to UNZIP it and get the real firmware from within the zip file.

This should fix it.
