Ethernet LAN connection drops when WiFi is enabled by schedule
« on: February 22, 2009, 09:27:15 AM »

My 655 is A2 and firmware version is 1.21 from official.

Recently, I try to use schedule to enable the WiFi signal instead of tradition manually clicking. Then, I suffer from regular connection drop. My schedule is 12:00AM-5:30AM.
The WiFi signal is really enabled on 12:00AM automatically but
1. all physical ports disconnect
2. the historical logs are cleaned automatically

I have observed this situation for 3 nights, all 4 ports really drop "on time".
***All my NICs are not running jumbo frame and with the latest driver.
***No WISH
***SPI is enabled
***anti-spoof is disabled
***No WPS

here is my page of WiFi setting. Now i have to enable/disable the signal manually :(

Try updating to the 1.21 beta on the Dlink FTP site.

Try updating to the 1.21 beta on the Dlink FTP site.

does it mean that 1.21 build 11 beta 02 == 1.22?

few weeks ago, i have tried 1.22. Although i did not try the WiFi schedule at that moment, i discovered that some pages such as port forward would be cleaned and they could not store the values i typed.

Therefore, I returned to 1.21 official.

1.22 had some issues so the build went back 1.21 and the latest beta is newer than the official 1.21 firmware.

I had issues with any firmware above 1.11 except this latest beta which so far has not given me any problems.
