I use dir-655 over 1 year there is no problem with the connection; yesterday i update my firmware to the latest to use the sharepoint service (without secureport)

right now my router has following devices connected to it:

Buffalo Linkstation EZ 320GB through port 2 (just installed yesterday)
Seagate 1TB USB through USB (just installed yesterday)
Sony LocationFree base station port 3 (also act as a router; using channel 1) (been installed over half year)

the router is having port forwarding to port 5021 for my location free base station;
the location free base station is act as second router using channel 1 wireless;
I am using WPA/WPA2 for wireless security

I have 1 laptop and 2 PC all connected through wireless;

When i turn on my laptop (Dell xps 1530), it show everything was connected; when I ping yahoo, i get a good response; but when i open the web browser it said it cannot display page; when i restart the router and cable modem, everything work again for couple hours; then same thing happen?

please help

I had the same issues with firmware. So I rolled back my firmware to 1.20.

No point on using broken firmware IMO

If you read around here, you shouldn't have rolled back to 1.20.  Either use 1.11, 1.21, or else the beta 1.22b05.

Now, Logicknot - it's only broken to you because of user error.

Fix it by doing the 90 second reset.

ok, so basically your saying you did not back up the gateways configuration and for some odd reason didn't realise that flashing the firmware would reset everything back to defaults? Someone with such a mild complexity of configuration should be able to determin what the problem is. Unless of course you actually had someone else set it all up for you.

Try disabling DHCP on the dlink, possibly one of yoru NAS devices are already serving.
