D-ViewCam Remote View Multiple Live Feeds
« on: January 30, 2012, 08:13:01 AM »

Hi,

I was wondering when and if the Remote View application will finally have the ability to connect to more than one camera at once? I've read all the threads on these forums and I just find that this feature is something that obviously should be there but it isn't.

I really would like to centralize my camera recording and monitoring system on one of my servers rather than having it running off of my personal desktop for the mere ability to view more than one camera at once, I also need the ability to have it setup so myself and other people I need to have access to the system to be able to remotely connect to it and it would be better suited on my server (more centralized and there is better bandwidth on this server to support multiple connections to it) but this limitation / bug / whatever that the software has at the moment is not allowing for that.

Can anyone give me some insight?

Thank you,
Steve

Bump..

I've noticed I'm not the only one that has this issue and it still seems to be an issue, I'm sure we would love to hear D-link's official word on this one? This one limitation in this software in particular is making me regret buying these cameras for my father's business.

pressing the "connet-all" buttom, will be ignored.
