Network Locations in My Computer
« on: March 09, 2009, 11:42:06 PM »

I have changed the name of my DNS-321 twice using the Webconfig.

By doing this, i've had to remap the drive, which is fine, but now, in 'My Computer',  there are 2 Network Locations, one named DNS321-Volume_1(IP ADDRESS) and then Volume_1 (NETSTORAGE (DNS-321))  and under both it says File Folder.

The name i have given the DNS-321 is LANStorage.

How can i get rid of those two folders from 'My Computer'?

Thanks.

Assuming some version of Windows - right click on them and then select delete.

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.

The mapped volumes under "My Computer"? Goto the volume, right click and select Disconnect.
