I am getting disconnects on a regular occurrence. I am on a university network and I notice the disconnects when either downloading a file or playing on my PS3. I must make it clear that these disconnects do not occur when I connect directly into the wall, excluding the router!
Resnet (the network provider) leases a DHCP for what I believe is one hour. This is when I lose connection through my router.

I believe the lease time is in seconds. Is there a way of preventing this from happening? The main reason I can see this disconnection is occurring is because the router basically resets itself every time the lease expires.
