Bittorrent addon issues with 1.10 upgrade
« on: February 10, 2012, 03:26:42 PM »

I recently upgraded my dns-323 to the new firmware as well as the latest bt addon.
Everything seemed to be working fine but just recently, the program seems to crash.
Everytime I go into the admin screen, I get the message 'Connection to server lost'.  I hit the retry button and it starts listing the torrents but then freezes and i get the same error message again.

I've tried rebooting as well as totally powering down but I can't seem to get it working like it was before when I was on 1.09.

Any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had a similar issue. Once in a while I would click a link in the DNS-323 admin screens and a connection error. A post I read suggested resetting all of the defaults in Tools > System > Defaults.

After I did this, everything worked fine.

The issue comes and goes for me, but I never really lose the torrent.  Sometimes, it has to refresh/rebuild on the DNS GUI, but the torrent is never lost.

To verify on your end if it is lost or not is to check the BT folder.
