Thats the date the firmware came out
You should be on 1.02
And try using Google chrome to update i had problems with Internet explorer
If it still will not let you update
do a factory reset first

I do not understand your problem. The FW v1.02 from 09/30/2011 is the latest official firmware! There is nothing you can change it with. And if memory serves, downgrading to a previous version is not allowed. So where do you want to go with yours?

If your box is causing problems ring D-Link if its under warranty they will arrange for it swopping
With me it was a simple fix
But they told me and sent me 1.03
But as nothing has been mentioned on here i'm not going to try this until it official

The latest DNS-325 firmware is version 1.02. There is neither an official release nor a beta version 1.03 (at least not in the United States).

I removed your hyperlink. Please do not post any firmware links hosted by non-Dlink sources.
If that file is in fact D-Link sanctioned beta firmware, what D-Link URL did you originally download the file from? Can you please provide your source?

Based on the email the link looks genuine. While I appreciate your support for the D-Link community, since the email originated from UK/Ireland and the firmware is not available in the United States, I have to insist that you not share the URL on this forum.

Depending on the country of origin, subtle manufacturing differences between different DNS-325s may cause issues if non-supported firmware is applied.

I will consult with a D-Link representative to validate the position of D-Link USA on this matter and will reinsert your link based on the outcome.

As i was also pointed to this By the UK
I do agree with what you have said and don't blame you for doing what you have done but as it came from D-Link UK I thought it was fine
Sorry if i have caused any problems
To uses until this is confirmed i can not sent any one this link so please do not PM me asking for this

I appreciate your understanding on this matter. Hopefully the file is compatible and we can share it with the community. However, I've seen issues like this crop up in the past and am erring on the side of caution until I have better information to act on.

Thank you again for your support!  :)
