Wireless Connection Dropping
« on: March 03, 2012, 08:22:13 PM »

Hi all,

I've done a bunch of searches for this problem, but haven't found a solution yet.

I recently purchased a dir-655.

My system consists of:  cable modem > DIR-655 > the following:
1. Desktop W/ Win7 (hardwired)
2. PS3 (hardwired)
3. Desktop w/ Win 7 (wifi)
4. Laptop w/ Win7 (Wifi)

The problem is that every few days, the wireless connections will drop for no reason. I have to unplug the router, and plug it back in. This will get the wireless back up.

When the wireless is down, I still have access to the internet on my hardwired devices.

Try single mode G or N or Mixed G and N.
Any other wifi routers near by?
