How about these: Seagate Expansion Desktop 2TB (STBV2000300)  and WD My Passport Ultra 500GB  (WDBPGC5000ARD).
I've used it for more than a year! and I thought they're really good.

Last week I switched them out for a pair of 2.0 TB Seagate ST2000DM001 hard drives configured as RAID 1. I don’t see them listed either. They formatted to full capacity and passed both the SMART and scan disk tests. 1.1 TB of data copied back to them @ 19.1 MB/sec. over GBit Ethernet.

On 23 Oct 2014 I installed a brand new pair of Seagate ST3000VN000 hard drives configured for RAID 1. Contrary to the above post, they only formatted to ~768 GB, similar to formatting them under Windows XP. Right or wrong, I concluded that the DNS-320 only supported drives up to a 2.2 TB limit.

Hope this information helps other users.

What FW version is installed on your DNS-320?  Legacy FW versions for this model only support 2 TB HDDs. 3TB support was subsequently added with later FW.

For what it’s worth, I upgraded my DNS-320 rev A firmware to v2.05 dtd. 05/07/2014, backed up 1.3 TB of data and my settings. The firmware updated without affecting my data or settings. Next I installed two new Seagate ST3000VN000 3 TB hard drives. The DNS-320 formatted them to full capacity. I restored all the original data to the 3 TB drives without incident. It’s nice when everything works the way it should.

If you check out the DNS-320 - Cumulative Firmware Release Notes, you'll see that HDDs >2TB are only compatible with FW version 2.01 and above. FW v2.01 is the first release that handles the AFD addressing schema of high capacity HDDs.

I will add that FW v2.01 or greater is required for HDDs > 2TB. Other than that one caveat, there should be no FW constraints (that I'm aware of).
