Since Western Digital reported full compatibility, I ordered and finally received 2 Western Digital REDs - WD20EFRX - 2TB drives.Since I knew the drives were coming, my data was already backed up, so I formatted the old 500 GB Seagate drives, and moved them to my older DNS-321 and set them up in Standard mode. Then I installed the 2 - WD20EFRX - 2TB drives in the DNS-325 and set them up running RAID 1.I spent most of Sunday transferring my media back to the DNS-325.I am happy to report all is working fine, and the DNS-325 has never been quieter.
Would it not make more sense to just update the first post as opposed to making an update every couple?
Hi all, I just bought the unit and two western digital red 2TB drives to go with it.The western digital website indicates that they've done extensive tests with the DNS-325 and has the unit lsted as compatible. The part number is WD20EFRX-68AX9N0
my DNS-325 FW 1.02 (french) works perfectly with 2 DD Western Digital RED 3TB sata 6G in raid 1.FTP and CIFS max transfert rate are about 32 Mo/s reading and 26Mo/s writing.
Thanks! Can you provide the HDD model number?
