ajaxplorer clarification
« on: March 15, 2012, 10:15:48 AM »

Hi everybody,
I just got my DNS-320 and I was able to launch Ajaxplorer while I was connected directly to NAS.
Now, I was wondering how can I access my NAS using Ajaxplorer from Internet, if it's possible.
I don't really understand how Ajaxplorer works.
So far over the Internet I was able to connect to my NAS only through FTP.

Thank you

AjaXplorer apps can only be launched via the NAS webUI whether access locally or from remote.

Thanks, I managed to connect.

I connected as admin but I don't see any button where I can create Repository.
I have only Settings (Users/Logs/Diagnostic) and Default Files (my folders under Ajaxplorer folder)
How can I create repository?

Hi. I was also trying to browse my files through Ajaxplorer but I could only see a Default Files folder. Although I could not test it yet, I found out that you can create a symbolic link to your shared folders. Please read this:

I hope this helps. I will try it when I reach home tonight.

Bye.
