Check the properties of your PC network port and see if "Client for Microsoft Networks" is there, install if not found.

I know it's too late but could be helpful for the future... I had the same issue; however ftp went fine, i could not reach the shared folders via explorer. I disabled Windows firewall (however I have not modified the rules before) for Private/Home network then I could reach the shared folder. After enabling Win FW again, the problem disappeared.
