When did you purchase the router. If recent, I might try returning it to place of purchase for another, if not, then yes this unit is under warranty with in the warranty time frame. Call your local DLink support office and or request an RMA online. Let us know how it goes.

If you have to send it back in mean time, might get a router for short term use if you can find one. From a place that has a return refund policy. Hope it all works out. Keep us posted.  ;)

Power off the router... wait 30 seconds .. and try to connect.. works for me everytime...

btw .. have the same problem not only with my iphone but also with every smartphone that i had ... (Nokia, Sony/Android) ...

Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
Try setting a manual channel to a open or unused channel.
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto.

Turn off Short GI, WLAN Partition and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

Power off the router... wait 30 seconds .. and try to connect.. works for me everytime...
