Dview 3 camera fail
« on: April 11, 2012, 08:31:54 AM »

When using dview with 3 932l's, one camera's bitstream goes to 0kb then back up to around 5k, then moments later back to 0k. If i right click-disconnect one of the other 2 camera's, it functions normally. If i reconnect the camera that i disconnected, the camera's bitstream goes back to 0kb, and then around 5k and back down again in a cycle. It makes it impossible to rely on the recording. Anyone have a similar experience/suggestions?

DVIEW ver. 3.2

I found the solution. My QoS on my router was giving priority to the other 2 cameras, after disabling Qos altogether, all of the cameras are functioning and on have a closely matched STABLE bitstream.
Hope this helps someone.

I have installed the D-ViewCam 3.20 and use 9 DCS-2130 cameras. Initially I connect it via wireless, but happened that cameras disconnected and reconnect regularly, and it happens to you. When one camera is disconnected the speedometer is set to 0 kbps in some cameras and these disconnect it, reconnect and this is repeated over and over again.

The solution I found was to wire the cameras and it stopped running.

Interestingly if I disconnect one of the wired cameras, repeat the same phenomenon: disconnect and reconnect.

It seems that the software searches the camera off and neglects the rest.

But if all the cameras are connected by cables everything is going well.

I hope my experience will help.
