I have a dap-1525 working fine in AP mode on our office network. I bought another 1525 hoping that I could configure it to "see" the network from the first unit, then use it in bridge mode. Can't quite seem to figure out how to accomplish that, if it's even possible at all.

My understanding is that, in bridge mode, the 1525 receives a wireless signal (presumably from a wireless router or an AP) then provides wired connections to other devices. Unfortunately, the firmware setup doesn't appear to have any specific configuration for the bridge mode, so I'm confused about how to get the second 1525 to talk to first.

Any suggestions (or maybe step-by-step?) would be greatly appreciated.

Have you referred to the product manual for information regarding this?

Absolutely, it was the first thing I did. From my point of view anyway, I could find no useful information about such a configuration.

I even tried the manual bridge configuration as if this was the only DAP in the system, and it could never find the wireless network to connect to.

I'm beginning to think that I got a lemon the second time around, but I'd certainly entertain any other ideas.

IT maybe that having 2 DAPs may not work in the configuration, one off the other. I presume that the 2nd DAP works when connected to the host router?

Yes, it actually does work in AP mode. My next experiment will be to try to configure the first unit to work in Bridge mode. Maybe I'll have better luck with it.
