I just hope the DIR-655 ethernet port has "juice" enough to handle that length from the router to the switch.
Mine went 100FT to a switch at 100Mbps without a problem, the switch was not Gigabit at the other end so no experience over 100FT or with Gigabit at that distance.
Had a 180FT long wire antenna at 1500Watts running parallel to the 100FT Cat-6 drop with only 30FT between the two without a hitch. Was always waiting for smoke when I got long winded, never happened. Router works great to this day, 4-5 years later.
The Rosewill brand Cat-6 from Newegg is what I am using, but there is proabally cheaper, they are just really close to me. Newegg carries the D-link switch too (D-Link makes a great switch, I have a 8-Port gigabit to expand my router), if not the cheapest they will be close, but check around on the cable price, sometimes vendors play games with the price. I usually but 10,000FT at a time of Belden, common to see vendors off as much as 300% from each other.
