URL cant use DDNS address?

i have try to use the URL for DNS-323, using the WAN IP seem work , but if i use the DDNS address , it doesnt work, why?

\\123.456.789.12\(filename)
\\abc.dyndns.org\(filename) - not working

Please do guide me over this thanks

Withiut a LOT more information it is hard to say, but my first guess/question is did you setup port forwarding in your router?

If port forwarding was not set up, the WAN ip would not work either - my suspicion is that your DDNS client may be incorrectly configured or DDNS may not be allowing updates.

Open a command prompt and try to ping the URL, what address does it show?
Is that the ip address you are at now?
