Hi Everyone,
I should preface this by saying I know diddly-squat about networking beyond the basics, so please speak slowly and clearly.

I just purchased a new router, D-Link DIR-835, and I'm having trouble connecting to one of the computers on my homegroup. All was working fine on my old wireless G router from 10 years ago just prior to the upgrade, and if I switch back the problem goes away so I'm thinking there's something in the settings for the 835 that I need to tweak.
My homegroup consists of my desktop PC (Windows 7 64-bit), Asus laptop (Windows 7 64-bit), and an Asus netbook (Windows 7 starter). The desktop is connected to the router via ethernet cable, the laptop and netbook wirelessly.
I can access the files on the netbook from the laptop and vice versa, but neither can access the files on the desktop, and it can't access the other two. The desktop appears in the homegroup, but when I try to access my files I get an error saying the network path could not be found.
I have removed all the computers from the homegroup and recreated it, and still the same problem. Could this be an issue with the hardware firewall? I really don't know where to begin with this and was hoping someone could help me out.
Thank you!
