Request > Support > SharePort Application > Mac/PC/Mobile Devices - Instead of having links to the various versions of the SharePort application on each model routers web page, how about one central web page for all SharePort Applications. Each section could be divided for separate platforms, i.e. Mac, PC and Mobile Devices and maybe displaying information on which routers they should or could be used with. This would be more helpful for those using the applications and getting more information on newer versions that maybe out there to use.

Users are noticing that some older versions that come with there router fail to work properly and are oblivious to new versions since newer versions are not posted to their routers product page. Once directed to these newer versions that come with newer router products, users install the newer version and seems to resolve there problems. One central repository for SharePort files and links is desired. This will make linking each product web page easy as all products that use SharePort can be linked and directed to the one SharePort support page.

• [Added 07/18/2012] Request > Support > SharePort Application > Mac/PC/Mobile Devices - Rather than maintain a unique SharePort application page for each model router, create a central SharePort webpage containing all SharePort versions, segregated by platform (i.e. PC, Mac, Mobile, etc), and provide a router compatibility list for each SharePort version. Some older versions of SharePort do not work properly on some routers, and users are unaware of newer SharePort versions since they are not posted on the router product page. • [Added 07/20/2012] Connect (Landing Page) - The statement "When choosing a new router, it’s well worth looking for products that support the Wireless N standard to get the best performance out of your network" is no longer true with the release of the DIR-865L and ac protocol. Recommend keeping the website protocol agnostic to reduce website maintenance (http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/connect)
  
• [Added 07/20/2012] Where to Buy > Retailers - Except for the few retailers with one location, the addresses used for national chains seems random (different States). Recommend removing addresses from all national retailers and rely on the retailer websites to provide that information. Some older versions of SharePort do not work properly on some routers, and users are unaware of newer SharePort versions since they are not posted on the router product page. Maintaining a central SharePort page may prove more useful to users and much easier to maintain and update for D-Link
