Conect Dir 655 to Fotigate 50B

Hello people i want to conect my Dir 655 as Wifi to my LAN, i had a fortigate 50b as DHCP and Dlink Switch 10/100 as LAN Switch when i trie to conect the DIR 655 i disable the DHCP, UnP and Firewall...
i put a local IP to DIR "192.168.0.221" and the fortigate has "192.168.0.23" then connect the dir to fortigate by LAN Port... when i trie to access via WIFI, dosent work... what can i do to work?

Please help me,
PD: i dont speak english very well as you can see..}

Might try this and turn the 655 into an AP:

i try that, my laptop dell n4010 somethings detect the wifi and something not .. the router its new works fine as router but not very well as AP... too i had 2 compac CQ10 500 and that laptops dont reconize the wifi network .. never took an IP from the DIR

The 655 might not be compatible in this configuration. These routers are designed to work as the main host router and connected directly to the ISP modem. Then all other devices after it. You might try connecting the 655 to the modem then connect your firewall appliance to the 655 and put the IP address the firewall appliance gets from the 655 into the 655's DMZ so the firewall gets un-processed traffic.

I buy the dir 655 to remplace a linksys wtr54gl this accest points works greats until someone broken ... i think the dir 655 would be a nice choice but.. now gonna trie again another configuration..

There maybe an issue between the modem and router as well. I would recommend getting a DAP model AP from DLink which are designed for AP, bridge and relay on some models instead of using the 655. These are officially supported by Dlink and might work better for you in this case. DAP-1525, 1533 or 1522 or 1360 are some models.

Oh! Finally i dit it !! i was playing whit the Wireless channel and the 802.11 Mode .. and Works!
