Weak throughput to my DSM510

I have owned two DSM510's for approx 18 months but recently one of them started having stuttering playback issues.  Does anyone know how to see what the throughput is to each device and how you can adjust/increase it?  I'm using a Linksys Wireless N router but my DSM's are both wired so I know it's not a wireless issue.  I can play avi files without issue but my mpeg files have started to stutter on just the one DSM510 - the other plays them without issue.  Any advice/help would be appreciated...
