Ok I should explain my situation a little better have windows 7. Camera plugged into ethernet port NVIDIA 10/100.  Tried to install software get tot he part where it asks for a admin. and password it says admin and password are wrong even though I have never given it a password.  Ok So I go to autorun and try to see if i can get it install cannot detect internet.  So I install d-view and try to view locally which is what I wanted to do anyway and I try to add a camera and I get a device inconsistent message. ugh!

The default username=admin and for the password, leave the field blank.  If this value combination is not accepted, you can try resetting the camera ot the factory default values.  While the DCS-932L is powered-up, use a paperclip to press and hold the recessed Reset button on the rear of the camera for > 8 seconds. This procedure will reset the username/password combination to the factory default settings.

Also, make sure you have installed the 1.4.2 device pack which will give support to DViewCam for the 932L.
You might have an older device pack loaded.
