Hi, we have 1 DAP2553 set up in our network in our office. We have recently been experiencing continuous drops of our internet connection. Our ADSL-modem-router (Thomson) was continously rebooting it appeared. After weeks from checking and repair-guys from the telephonecompany it turned out it was nog the telephoneline that was bad, but an internal device was giving bad signals through the network. We finaly traced it down to the DAP2553. After the accesspoint was disconnected the connection stayed up for three days, without loosing connection once (situation before was 10 times in one hour). Of course it could be a mobile decive connected through the accesspoint, but we have filtered that out as well. After disabling all mobile devices that could connect we have powered on the D-Link again. Within the hour the internet connection dropped twice. Removed the power cable and no internet problems the rest of the day. Next day I have reset the DAP2553 back to factory setting with a hard-reset. Uploaded new firmware 1.20 -> 1.21. and entered all new setting for the device (other SSID to be safe). That seemed to work, since we had stable internet for 2 days. But this morning internet failed again twice in a row. One difference: 3 mobile phone are connected through the accesspoint since yesterday, one of them (mine) had been already connected since the reset and update.
What could be the problem here? I have activated the accespoint with WPA2 security, 2,4Ghz band, MAC-filtering, fixed IP, no DHCP, visible SSID
