timed motion detection

Are you able to setup motion detection over a certain time period?  The way it seems to me is you have the options of motion detection 'all the time' or schedule which take pictures 'all the time' over a certain time period.  What I would like to do is set the camera up for motion detection only between the hours of 12pm and 6am but have it off for the remaining time.  This way only pictures will be recorded during those hours (ie. a break in).  otherwise I have to turn the camera off every day or set the motion detection every day so that I do not get hundreds of email.

Unfortunately, the DCS-932L does not support motion detection on a schedule.

Here is a potential makeshift solution to your dilemma.  You can try using a house timer to turn your DCS-932L on/off during the specified window you're interested in monitoring. If you try this solution, please post your results.
