This is with the manual channel set?
If this continues, I would call back DLink and get another. Ask for a new one LOL. Sorry your having so much problems. 
Yes, sort of. I think that there might be a glitch with these and that's why she had me change the channel.
It was pretty simple, she had me un-check the Enable Auto Channel Scan box, set my channel to 11 then check the Enable Auto Channel Scan again and I think reboot. No problems today so far, so maybe what my wife experienced was something on the cable side.

They do still have a case opened for me so if it happens again I will request a new one.
