Upgrading/updating firmware?
« on: August 31, 2012, 02:46:36 AM »

My current firmware is this:

Hardware version: Bx
Firmware version: 2.11

Based on this link http://www.dlink.com.ph/support/support_detail.asp from the D-Link South East Asia website, there are several updates but I'm not sure if some are newer compared to my current firmware version.

On another site http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/DIR-600#How_to_upgrade_with_new_DD-WRT_firmware it looks like it's another version of firmware for DIR-600, but it doesn't indicate if it's latest or not.

My question is, is my current firmware the latest? Or there is a newer one I should install? Thank you.

What region are you located?

I see from here in the U.S. connecting to that site brings up a error, not sure if this is an error on my side or that web site.

If you are located in the same region as this web site, then what is posted on that web site is the most recent.

If you have any questions regarding versions and your router and the web site, I would contact your regional local DLink support office by phone and ask about it.
