Well by this link, the 865L does have a certification:
DIR-865L CertificationThis is direct from the WiFi site:
D-Link WiFi Certifications ListMost new Wireless technology is always names Draft, due to the fact that ya, it's new and in Draft form and the standards have not been quiet been put into stone so there is some room for design improvements before everyone decides to lock the standard down. Once thats done then draft goes away and then it becomes a full fledges standard that everyone has to follow. Wireless N was the same way.
In all, it's up to you weather or not if you want to get a A/C router. You need to consider your network needs and client side support and any future needs. Do you have a need for A/C at the moment? Your devices support A/C yet? If not, how long do you think you will have a need for A/C in the future and what devices will or can you upgrade to support it. Things like that people don't think about and sometimes just rush out to get the latest and greatest and most times are wasting money and time.
Just a few things to think about.
