DSL-2750U H/W C1 latest firmware
« on: November 07, 2012, 11:59:02 PM »

hi everybody,

As per topic title, I've been looking for the link to download firmware for the DSL-2750U H/W Ver.C1 and I'm unable to find it. The closest I've been is the south African ftp server but it only has FW for T revision.
My Wireless router has been bought in north africa (Algeria) and has a Middle East version of the firmware (1.10). I already checked the ftp for the MEA (middle East & Africa) with no success.

Your help is really appreciated.
Thanks.

I recommend contacting your regional local DLink support office and ask them specifically where and if this version of FW is located for download.

Let us know what you find out.

zsidane,
i found new firmware for my dsl-2500 on other regional site.

FW 1.0.11 - "The name of model with product code is dsl-2750U/NRU/C(/BA/C1A)"
ftp://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/ADSL/DSL-2750U/Firmware/

But hardware may depend on region or have another model name... better wait for official answer :(

"This firmware is only compatible with hardware revision C.
Please take a look at string "H/W Ver." on the sticker of your device. The name of model with product code is dsl-2750U/NRU/C(/BA/C1A)"

I would also make sure that this version has a readable UI, as this versions UI could only be in Russian syrillic.  :-\ Unless you can read syrillic.  ;)

I would hope there is a language selection in the modems web page, that will make it good. However if the newer FW is language specific, it might be hard to go back to previous FW versions as I don't know if Modems can do that or behave in that manor like routers do. Most routers can downgrade with out too much problems. Better safe then sorry.  ;)

Hi
My Device is : DSL-2750U H/W C1

I installed 1.0.14 Ver From ftp://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/ADSL/DSL-2750U/Firmware/ ( by Force flash way )
very very good
my kernel now is updated
and
UI in very User Friendly  :D

Force Flash Upgrade :
- Switch router off
- press the reset button ie insert ballpoint pen in reset hole under the router
- keep holding the reset button and turn on the router
- Keep holding the reset button for about 12 seconds after you power on the router.
- Now you'll see that the power led has turned red signifying that the router is in crash recovery mode.
- When you enter the address 192.168.1.1 on your PC browser, you find the upgrade firmware page.
- Just browse to the downloaded firmware file and flash!
- Enjoy the many new features!

Glad it's working well for you. Thank you for sharing.

What does "( by Force flash way )" mean?  ???

Please give details on this process...

Hi everybody
I know a long time has passed from the last post on this topic, but as issues take place in any time, I wanted to share my experience and thank tabarak for sharing his!
Recently my 2750u C1 modem started to lose connection and drop wireless connections, and finally yesterday the power button turned to red and never got green again. I tried to reset... no chance! I almost got disappointed, but searched the internet for repair solutions and reached to this page.
With instructions got by tabarak I could recover my modem and totally solve the problem, at least for now. and as tabarak said, the menu has become much more user friendly and much much more direct.

====== TRY THIS UPDATE EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM NOW ======
================= FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION ABOVE ====================
