Ubuntu can't read the files from dns320 hdd

My dns320 die on me few day ago. Both of my hdd was configure as raid 1. I need to get data out from my hdd so i plug 1 of my hdd into a pc install with ubuntu 11.04. I've around 200GB of data but when mount to pc there are 0 data. Please help. I dun dare to put the 2nd hdd to test cause i scare i lost my data entirely.
