nfs help
« on: November 17, 2012, 05:39:57 AM »

I have a 2X3tb setup (1TB raid 1 and rest jbod) on dir-320. I am using a linux desktop and setup nfs.
I tried most of the nfs options found online. My problem is the nfs speed,
Now I know the dir-320 is not high end and I cant expect much from it, but I don't get speeds more than 1.5 - 2 mbps when using sync
with async it peaks at 3 - 4 mbps, goes down to 100 kbps and then stalls for 5 seconds, and starts back at 3 - 4 mbps

dir-320 is connected to a  D-Link DIR-615 running dd-wrt.
The above speeds are on wifi, however even on a ethernet connection (cat 6), the max speed I get is 5 mbps.
Something is wrong somewhere and I cant figure it out.
I was expecting 10-11 mbps.
