I just looked up the DIR-825 on D-Link's website and it didn't say anything about supporting a 3G USB adapter. I checked in FAQ and selected the question: Is 3G supported with my D-Link router?
AND this is their answer: Currently, the DIR-412 Mobile Broadband Wireless Router is the only D-Link router that is 3G compatible. The DIR-412 supports 3G USB adapters complying with HSUPA/HSDPA/EV-DO/TD-SCDMA networks and works with most major cellular carriers (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Rogers, Telus, Bell, etc).
Which is strange
beacuse when I did a Google search for the DIR-825 I looked at PC MAG's review of the router (from March 2009) it says that it Pros are:
USB port supports 3G, network access to attached printers, hard drives. Simultaneous dual-band mode. Offers extensive networking features, including powerful access scheduler and guest access provisions
SO I'm assuming that because I'm in the states and ISPs don't like broadband to be shared now-a-days, I can't have the option of having 3G USB adapater support on my router.
That's what you mean by region right? Because I live in East Texas if that's what you're asking for. When you say region I'm thinking about regions for DVD's and the sort.
