Have no remote access to My Dlink or D-LinkViewcam
« on: November 21, 2012, 02:11:01 AM »

I have 2 cameras DCS 930 wireless connected to my router. I can see them both on my PC when I have PC on same router.
From another location I can not see the cameras when I logg in to "My D-Link page" and the ViewCam can not connect either.
I have run a Port forward program on my router.

What Have I missed and what to do to be able to watch the cameras from a different location?
Please help out

Are your cameras model DCS-930 or DCS-930L?  The DCS-930 is not supported by mydlink, while the DCS-930L is supported.  The "L" designation at the end of the model number specifies that the device is cloud-enabled.

Thanks!  I do have the L-version. The mystery thing is that when I use my friends computer at his home  we can log into my D-Link account and see my cameras.
But I can not do it from the same position or other places with none of my two laptops!!
It just shows it tries to hook up.

Please, Any good ideas?
