3TB drive?
« on: November 21, 2012, 11:32:49 AM »

Has anyone tried one?  I have a Seagate Barracuda on the way. I know the specs say 2TB max.

Another point to note. The factory default firmware in the DNS-320 does NOT support 3TB HDDs. You will need to upgrade to the latest firmware for 3TB HDD support.

I bought two Seagate Barracuda 7200 3 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 and after doing the firmware update they work. I created a Raid 1 and it comes out to about 2.68 TB of working space.

You can post your HDD model number and experience for addition to the DNS-320L HDD compatibility list here: DNS-320 - Compatible HDDs
