Navigate to Applications > Local Backup and configure a recurring incremental backup between the two Volumes.
My goal is two have one HDD for parents and one for childs
If I understand whet you're saying :
- I create a backup task to copy all child's data to the second HDD
- launch it
- When backup is finished I delete the task and Child's data in parent's HDD
I'm gonna try this, THX
Did you accidentally configure the HDDs as RAID-1? If you log into the Web UI and navigate to Management > System Status > System Info > Volume Information, what are the values for Volume Type and Used Space for Volume_1 and Volume_2?
No, all seems ok :
Volume Name Volume_1
Volume Type Standard
Total Hard Drive Capacity 1831.82 GB
Used Space 10.82 GB
Unused Space 1821 GB
Volume Name Volume_2
Volume Type Standard
Total Hard Drive Capacity 1831.82 GB
Used Space 1683.32 GB
Unused Space 148.5 GBBut I've find the problem.
In Management --> Account Management --> Network Shares
FTP info for vol1 was :
Share Name : Volume_1
Path : Volume_
2and for vol2
Share Name : Volume_2
Path : Volume_2
Maybe it's due to a problem I've faced of today :
I was unable to format second HDD while first one was still inside DNS-320.
So i was obliged to remove Disk 1, format Disk 2 and then re-plug Disk 1.
And Vol1 became Vol2 ....
I've clicked on "Reset Network Shares", reconfigured and all is OK.
Thx
