D-Link released firmware version 1.01b03 for the DNS-320L A2 and DNS-320LW A1 Here:

• D-Link Taiwan (Please be mindful of the hardware version number before you download)

Note: There seem to be some odd naming conventions with the link names and file names, so read carefully.

My wishes :

- [MyDlink] : Possibility to manage rights on files. When you connect via MyDlink iPhone App you get total rights on all the files.
- [General] : It misses a Explorer Like App with two windows in order to move files, copy from USB to NAS or NAS to USB, folders, files, etc...
- [Photos and Vidéos] : Ability to post to services like Google Picasa, Fliker, ...
- [BUG General] : Shutdown doesn't work. Reboot is not clearly visible. Does it reboots ? Leds never stop blinking.

That's for now ?
Any due date for a new firmware on 320L A2 ?

GUI seems more responsive, can't seem to fine anything to do with the webserver, as listed in the release notes though.

Depending on where you downloaded the file, the firmware may be in a archive (zip or rar). If you haven't already done so, please try expanding the file to extract the firmware.

Can  somebody please explain the difference between the DNS-320L A1 and the DNS-320L A2. Can the Firmware v1.01b03 also be installed on the A1?

Hardware versions A1 and A2 are two separate builds of the DNS-320L. Different hardware versions typically include subtle changes to the physical technical specifications, which sometimes impacts compatible firmware.

Since the v1.01b03 firmware file was loaded onto the D-Link USA FTP site with no reference to hardware version, I would presume A1 will work, but this is only speculation.

Firmware upgrade has worked for build A1!
