Multiple ports for QoS?!
« on: January 14, 2013, 01:54:06 PM »

Hi.

I've been searching around like a crazy dude for this.
I want to enable QoS for Dota 2.

I would like the following:
Local IP Range: from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.110
Remote IP Range: from 146.66.153.23 to 146.66.153.37
Application Port: from 27015 to 27100

From what i can see you can only specify 1 port for each rule.!

Is there any way to achieve what i want?

Try the QoS and Gaming sticky for the 645 yet?

The UI is different from other DIR series routers in that you can't specify a Application Port range From and To like before. There is some presets available and I recommend to test the ALL preset to see if it works. Protocol should be ANY I think.

Well first here is link to manual since support link to download the manual on the DIR-645 product page is broken (I posted it on the dlink.com bug thread).

Whats the little "all" drop down under where you put the Application port? Maybe just put the whole PC under the rule. I assume your not going to do be doing anything else while playing DOTA 2 right? That many ports forwarding is going to be handled best by UPnP. JMHO
