No, the button on the side with the two arrows (as seen here) is for WPS and not relevant. A power cycle should be sufficient for anything I can think of.

Tell me more about your problem:
1. Who is your ISP?
2. What kind of modem do you have?
3. What is the symptom? Cant get online? Cant access something on your network remotely? Problem with console? Etc

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What region are you located?

Who is your ISP? Comcast? Time Warner?

When you say "the server IP was added to the router" do you mean you created a DHCP reservation for the 192 IP your server is using? Or do you mean your setting your server to use your static IP?

If you have a Static IP from your ISP, then that should be set Under your "Internet Settings" also known as your WAN IP. Also, if going from a DHCP IP to a Static IP, most ISP will require you to call them, and on request, will clear your ARP cache.

As for the internet working until you start a torrent, sounds like your downloader is using up all your bandwidth.

cable provider ..access communications   local cable provider  here in Regina , SK. Canada.. my IP is Static at provider  my settings in router are on static ..I down load on off peak hour so not to get throttled back my band width is 5 down 1 up  when i am downloading torrents ..yes i use the whole band width .. and its only in the morning when i go to log on my other machines ..i some times find only the main machine i was downloading on  and my server are still connecting ...i thought ARP cache is only on my home PC  , dose my provider also have my ARP cache ?? or do you mean ask provider to clear my CMTS ??

Im not sure how to help. If your using a static IP, there is nothing to refresh. There is no DHCP lease to renew. And even if required, a power cycle should be all that is required. Only other then that is to do a Factory reset, but that will reset everything you have configured into the router. Sounds like its not a issue with the router or ISP, but the torrent downloader on your server. I would try the WD forums.
