How to set no authorization for media player access?
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:12:34 AM »

Hi,
Can I share some folders for everyone (or just specific IP/MAC) without forcing user to authorize it self? I mean, currently I need to enter password each time I watch something on media player (after some time of idle they are forced to enter).  For default user (or example from internal LAN) access would be Read only, for authorized users Read/Write.
I tried with UPnP server but my HD600A can't play movies (I an see files and folders structure).

Hi,
I found solution. Media player by default uses Realtek_guest as username and Realtek_pw as password. By creating user with this values on DNS I skipped authorization request.
