Adding a USB Hub to router? - Problem
« on: April 29, 2009, 02:55:04 PM »

Does anyone know if you can add a USB Hub to the router? I tried adding a Belkin USB Hub 2.0 to the router but it doesnt seem to detect more than 1 device.

I hooked up a IPOD and Tomtom but it only detected the IPOD after a reboot of the router, the tomtom simply reboots after I try to add it to hub with more than 1 device..

They both work perfectly though if no hub is added and simply 1 device connected....

Cheers!

A hub is no prblem. Got a 7 port hub attached and 7 devices are recognized. You do need a self powered hub for more devices, since the power provided over USB is limited. I think this causes your malfunction.
