How did you reset the camera?  While the camera is powered up, you need to press and hold the recessed Reset button on the rear of the camera using an open paperclip for > 8 seconds.

I reset when it was powered up and connected with the network cable
I have done that 5 times now

Do I leave the network cable pluged in and after the 8 seconds do I remove the power and do a new set up?

I have tried all options

The exact wording of the error is
"There was a problem saving your settings. Press try again

Of course i do that many times and it keeps comming back with the above wording

Ah Ha A development

When i go into the web address 192.168.1.82 the camera and now get the password .I leave password blank and can connect to the camera.
So in Maintenance I changed the password.
Then tried the setup again and it wont recognise the new password I set up? I get the same message again.

Sorted it
I had managed to upgrade the firmware to 1.06 But didnt use the new set up software. You MUST set up with the new software
It tells you to on the download page  If only I had read it properly

Hope this helps others

By setup software I presume you are talking about the Setup Wizard?

Good to know.  Will have to update the FAQs with this information.  Sounds like upgrading a pre-configured camera to v1.06 will work without issue, but if the FW is updated to v1.06 before configuration, then the latest Setup Wizard is required.
